About the College
Mountain District Community College (MDCC) is a Specialist School offering the Victorian Certificate of Education–Vocational Major (VCE-VM), Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) and a modified Year 10 program.
The curriculum aims to be flexible, individually tailored and relevant for students. Alongside the education pathway is a comprehensive wellbeing program that helps to address barriers to succeeding in education, supports social and emotional development, and allows for a more successful transition to further education or employment.
In the establishment of Mountain District Community College (MDCC) it is recognised that there is a shortfall in diversity of education pathways for young people in Victoria. The aim of MDCC is to provide an education curriculum that caters for young people with complex needs who have disengaged from education and will benefit from an alternative approach that allows them to reconnect to education in a supportive environment.
We strive to action our values of Inclusivity, Accountability, Respect, Honesty and Teamwork each day.
