Garden Group

After successfully receiving a garden grant of $500, students who would otherwise spend their lunchtimes inside the classroom were invited to participate in a two day a week, lunchtime garden group.

Students have been planting seeds, caring for seedlings and looking after our growing vegetables.

They have spent some time learning about seasonal produce and companion planting whilst utilising the greenhouse and compost in the Community Garden.
